We found them at the Carson Animal Shelter.  Even though our dogs have tags, one was put up for adoption.  There was a sign above her kennel that read "I'm ready to go home with you today."  Thank you for all of your help!

My pet has been found, and she has returned safely!  We appreciate you & your web-site!  It helped us in our time of grief.  The more people we could reach the more it helped our minds and hearts to know the possibility of finding him was greater!  We posted flyers everywhere, checked all the shelters in our area and posted one on your site.  We had several calls from people all over saying they possibly saw a dog that fits the description on the flyer.  We followed the leads we received with no luck.  We continued our searches at the early morning hours (2 & 3 am) because one of our family members did see Rocky around that time but ran because he was scared.  The last call we received on a lead, was from a man who said his kids were playing with a dog that fits Rocky's description.  My cousin ran out to see if it was him and thankfully it was!  They didn't want the reward because they were just happy he was safe and going home to his family.  Rocky was missing for 1 week before we found him.  Thanks again and continue the great work your doing.  Best wishes to all who have lost a pet may you find them quickly & safely!

Yes we did find him.  A passing motorist picked him up and tracked us down via our fliers we put out that very same evening.  Thanks.

Yes, Paddy was found and is back with his foster family safe and secure.  Thank you for all your help!  Animal Avengers staff, volunteers, and the foster family put up 100s of "missing flyers" in the area and searched for him day and night since he escaped from the foster's yard.  We had a few very good tips from the neighborhood and we finally caught him the morning of the 4th day.  Animal Avengers

Thank you so much for writing.  we did find him, about two months ago.  he was in bad shape, and very unhappy and sick, but he is finally getting back to normal and we are all extremely happy we found him because of a kind neighbor, who phoned us after seeing Thomas jailed in a construction lot.  he was able to see into the corner lot because he lived on the 5th floor of an apartment building, and had a view into the vacant site.  I really appreciate your help and support.  Jen

Actually it was quite interesting.  I was on your site and I decided, after posting my lost ad, to check into the local shelter.  I would have never thought to look for him there because he had only been missing for one day.  I figured he would still be in the neighborhood, but he had been there the whole time he was missing. It was a little interesting that he got picked up just as soon as he got out.  I would like to advise everyone to check the local shelters as soon as possible, Chop Chop could hae been home much sooner had we checked the internet sooner.  Thanks again if it wasn't for your site I would probably have not checked the shelters until much much later.
Sincerely, One Happy Dog Owner

Hi!  Thanks for the email!  Luckily, Gibson was returned to us this morning!  I want to thank you for your website, it's such a useful resource.  My roommate and I both read through it, and have done everything you suggested.  (When I saw the toy hanging by the front walk I almost started crying though!)  We thought he might have been stolen because our apartment had been broken in to on Monday, and that's when he came up missing.  We weren't sure if he got out when the intruders got in, or if he was taken by them.  But apparently it was the former because my roommate got a call this morning from the people who found him. :)  So thank you for all your tips and for having a place where people can post lost/found animals.  It is greatly appreciated!

Yes -- we found him 10 days later in the basement of a huge construction project.  He needed emergency surgery, over 100 stitches to repair wounds inflicted by either a coyote or large dog.  He has recovered and shows no ill effects.  Thanks.  Flyers and posters.  Witness development and phone setups made all the difference.  In addition, I am in the graphic design and communications business.  I was able to direct mail 6500 postcards to households in the search area.  A security guard had seen a flyer and spotted the dog.  He called us about 11:00 at night and we went right there.

Loki was picked up by young asian couple with bluish honda-like sedan. (Nov 4)  Hello, I just wanted to let you know that we found our dog!!!  Someone had taken him in and just found us on Craigslist.  Thank you so much for all of your help!

I lost her on a Wednesday night about 5:30pm, that night I put up signs all over town and looked for her till the wee hours.  She was nowhere to be found.  Gizelle was in heat and got loose and was looking for some company.  I learned not to put an address on the flyers cuz I got some death threats from some weird people asking for money or she would be killed... they were just playing a joke, not funny.  She did not have her collar on when she ran but I had faith that she would be returned with in the week.  After the weekend came I knew it would not happen till Monday because she has a Chip and most Pounds and Vets are closed during the weekend.  I received a call on Tuesday morning from Pete The Plummer Company up the street, it turns out one of the plumbers had found her on Thursday and did not see the signs till Monday and waited a day to call me because his two little girls were having a blast with my puppy.  When I got her back she was very happy to see me and had her toes painted a pretty pink.  6 Days out and she is safe at home.

Piggy had been gone for about three weeks.  She wondered from my house without her collar on.  I was desperate placing signs everywhere, making flyers, calling the media, using the internet.  Turns out a couple had picked her up about a mile from my house because they thought she had been “dumped.” After some time, the wife convinced the husband that they should check the net.  They did, and they saw that her face had been plastered all over the lost dog sights!  We went to get her immediately in Northridge, CA an hour from where we live!

Someone in the neighborhood had seen a "lost" sign posted on a pole and called to alert the dog's owner, who then rushed down and found her dog.  Shazam was found 12 days after he got out.  He was found not that far from his home and was very, very hungry, thirsty and had a broken leg (now fixed).  Thanks!

It turned out that he only lived a couple blocks away, and his id had come off his collar only a couple days before.  Thanks so much!

It was 1 day short of a month, and I looked several times a day on every web site, and then there he was at one of the local pounds.  I called immediately and they said he had been there since that Fri.  and had not put his picture up until that Sun.  night.  I went the very next morning and they told me that he had been taken care of by some people.  I had put up 75 color posters of him, and he had gone 2 miles the other way that i had not put posters at.  He had lost a lot of weight, but when he saw us he was so happy that he lost his barking ability.  It took him several days to come around.  I would tell anyone out there who has lost a pet, do not give up.  I was 1 day short of a month of my Toby being lost, and found him.

Yes!  Rufus is home safe, however Lilly is still M.I.A.  We have not lost hope.  Thank you for your site.  The day they went missing we made signs and hung them up all over the neighborhood.  That night I went on your website and posted.  The next morning someone called with Rufus, but no Lilly.  We continue to plaster the hood.  Jeff
